Visitor Policy
Loved ones are welcome.
Our hospital’s top priority is to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees and physicians. The hospital prohibits discrimination based on age, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, language, physical or mental disability, socioeconomic status, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression. The following visitor policy is effective August 1, 2023.
- Visiting hours are from 7:00 am until 8:15 pm daily. Visitors may enter through the front lobby/main entrance of the hospital. Long Term Care visitors will enter and exit the hospital through the Emergency Department before 7:00 am and after 8:15 pm.
- Patients will be allowed a maximum of five (5) visitors at any time during visiting hours.
- One (1) visitor for adult patients and two (2) visitors for pediatric patients are allowed in the Emergency Department.
- OB patients and pediatric patients will be allowed one (1) well visitor/caregiver for overnight stay. Any other overnight visitors must be approved by the attending physician.
- Two (2) visitors are allowed in the labor room.
- Only two (2) members of a family or a significant other at a time are allowed in the ICU during visiting hours. No one under the age of 12 will be allowed in ICU, unless physician order obtained.
- There are no restrictions on age, number of visitors, or time of day for visitors going to Long Term Care.
GENERAL VISITOR GUIDELINES
- Visitors under 12 are to be supervised at all time by an adult.
- ICU visitation hours are as follows: 9:00 - 9:30 am; 11:00 - 11:30 am; 1:00 - 1:30 pm; 5:00 - 5:30 pm and 8:00 - 8:30 pm.
Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to the criteria above at the physician’s discretion. Flexibility is allowed based on local community COVID-19 activity or other extenuating circumstances.
